The Strings Remember is Version 3.6’s story-linked guqin event: seven quests, one unlocking each day at 04:00 server time from September 3 to September 21, 2026, paying Astrite x400 plus resonance potions, sealed tubes, energy cores and Shell Credit. Qingxiao teaches you to play the seven-string qin she gave you, so it is the companion piece to her Wind of Transcendence banner — and because quests drip out daily, it cannot be cleared in one late sitting.

How The Strings Remember Works
Clear the story first
Union Level 14 plus the Four Chime Shaftpost from "The Wind Before the Storm" gets you in early, but Kuro recommends finishing Chapter IV Segue "The Nethermancer’s Requiem" first so the event lands in the right narrative order.
Come back on day one
One event quest unlocks each day at 04:00 server time from September 3, for seven quests in total. The first is available the moment the event opens.
Take Qingxiao’s lessons
Each quest sends you to a different location where Qingxiao teaches you a piece on the seven-string guqin she gave you.
Play the piece
Performing the piece is what completes the day’s quest and pays out its share of the reward track.
Finish before September 21
With one quest per day from September 3 and a September 21 close, there is genuine slack — but only if you start within the first eleven days.

- Reach Union Level 14 and activate the Four Chime Shaftpost during Main Quest "The Wind Before the Storm" to access this event early.
- Complete the pre-requisite Quest "The Nethermancer’s Requiem" for the best experience.
Tips
- The last of the seven quests cannot unlock before September 9, since one opens per day from September 3 — so a single late-September session cannot clear the whole event.
- Do "The Nethermancer’s Requiem" before you start; Kuro flags it as the pre-requisite for the intended experience, and it is also the Chapter IV Segue that closes the 3.6 story.
- This is the Qingxiao event of the patch — if you pulled her on Wind of Transcendence, play it while the banner is still up.
- No combat is involved, so it is a good filler on days when your Waveplates are already spent.
- Astrite x400 sits behind seven daily unlocks rather than a grind, so set a reminder rather than budgeting an evening.
