WuWa 3.7 Moonlit Path: every reward, and what 980 rings really cost
Moonlit Path runs until November 11, 2026. Every purchase earns Moonlit Rings, 1 for each 10 base Lunite, and 980 rings unlock a Shorekeeper, Carlotta or Phoebe selector. That costs about $149 on any account. What your account changes is how many pulls come with it: from 85 to 213. This guide follows EODGamer’s video and his EODdb planner, checks the rewards against the in-game screen and Kuro’s patch notes, and adds our own calculation of the cheapest route for three kinds of account.

Gacha spending and pull-value analysis, and the EODdb.com planners behind it.
Spending events come back every few versions, and most guides stop at the reward list and the line “980 rings for the selector”. EODGamer’s point is that the right purchases depend on your account: how many monthlies you can still stack, and which first top-up doubles you have not used. His video is mostly a tour of the planner he built for that. Below are the rewards, the rules for earning rings, and the numbers worked out for the accounts most players actually have.
When does Moonlit Path start and end?
From the Version 3.7 update on September 30, 2026 to November 11, 2026, the last day of the version. On launch day the event screen read 42 days remaining. Purchases made during that window count automatically: there is nothing to sign up for. Rewards you forget to claim are mailed within 30 days of the end, but only to players who log in during that period. The rest of the version’s schedule is on our events calendar.

What are all the Moonlit Path rewards?
Ten milestones, from a free Lustrous Tide to a 2,200-ring collection item. Kuro’s 3.7 patch notes list the new cosmetics among them: Hsin’s accessory Where Dreams Shine Clear, Rover’s accessory and sigil Not Even Close, the avatar Abby Tossing, the Hsin Cube for the motorbike and the Cloudview Seat.
| Moonlit Rings | Reward | What it is |
|---|---|---|
| Free | Lustrous Tide ×1 | Starter gift, claimable without spending |
| 30 | Radiant Tide ×1 | One limited-banner pull |
| 88 | Motorbike Accessory: Hsin Cube | Cosmetic |
| 198 | Forging Tide ×2 | Two weapon-banner pulls |
| 328 | Hsin Accessory: Where Dreams Shine Clear | Cosmetic |
| 450 | 5★ Weapon Chest | Pick 1 of 5 standard 5★ weapons |
| 680 | Transducer ×3 | Substat rerolls |
| 980 | Resonator Selector | Shorekeeper, Carlotta or Phoebe, or 8 Transducers |
| 1,600 | Cosmetics Set | Rover accessory and sigil “Not Even Close”, avatar “Abby Tossing” |
| 2,200 | Cloudview Seat | Collection item for the Utility Wheel |

Two milestones carry the gameplay value. At 450, a chest with a pick of five standard 5★ weapons. At 980, a resonator selector. After that, 1,600 and 2,200 are cosmetics only.

How do you earn Moonlit Rings?
By spending in the shop during Version 3.7. Lunite top-ups give 1 ring per 10 Lunite, and only the base amount counts: the bonus Lunite on larger tiers and the first-purchase double add Astrite, not rings. Packs and the Lunite Subscription give a fixed number of rings each.
| Purchase | Price (US) | Rings | Astrite you get |
|---|---|---|---|
| Lunite Subscription (30 days) | $4.99 | 30 | 3,000 |
| 60 Lunite | $0.99 | 6 | 60 (120 first time) |
| 300 Lunite | $4.99 | 30 | 330 (600 first time) |
| 980 Lunite | $14.99 | 98 | 1,090 (1,960 first time) |
| 1,980 Lunite | $29.99 | 198 | 2,240 (3,960 first time) |
| 3,280 Lunite | $49.99 | 328 | 3,880 (6,560 first time) |
| 6,480 Lunite | $99.99 | 648 | 8,080 (12,960 first time) |
| Jade Steed's Radiant Chest | $9.99 | 68 | 1,200 (5 Radiant Tides + 400) |
| Jade Steed's Forging Chest | $9.99 | 68 | 1,200 (5 Forging Tides + 400) |
| Shaftpost Yard's Radiant Chest | $29.99 | 198 | 2,900 (15 Radiant Tides + 500) |
| Hsin and Moon | $9.99 | 68 | 300, plus WavesLine cosmetics |
Prices are the US store prices EODdb shows in the video; your region’s prices may differ, but the ring counts do not. Two packs, Shaftpost Yard’s Battlesong Collection and Xuanfang’s Support Ration, are missing from the table because their price is not on screen.

How much does it cost to reach 980 rings?
About $149, on any account. Because every purchase earns 6 to 6.8 rings per dollar, the cheapest combination that reaches 980 rings costs $148.79 whether or not you have bonuses left: fourteen 60 Lunite top-ups, two 1,980, one 980, the three $9.99 packs and the $29.99 chest. That is our own calculation, over every purchase in the table above.
Price is the wrong thing to optimise, then. What differs is how many pulls come with the selector, so we also worked out the plan that buys the most Astrite for $155 at most:
| Your account | Cost | Rings | Pulls (Astrite ÷ 160) |
|---|---|---|---|
| First top-up doubles left, 6 monthlies available | $154.91 | 994 | 213 |
| No doubles left, 6 monthlies available | $154.87 | 1,000 | 180 |
| No doubles left, monthly already running to the cap | $154.95 | 1,012 | 85 |
Monthlies explain most of the gap. Each one costs $4.99, gives 30 rings and is worth 3,000 Astrite, 601 per dollar, five times anything else. The catch is time: six monthlies bought now pay 300 Lunite at once and 90 Astrite a day for 180 days, so most of that value arrives over the next six months, not for this version’s banners. That is what EODdb’s “75 now, 101 later” means.

EODGamer’s own plan, above, lands on exactly 980 rings for $151.75 and 176 pulls, with only his 60 and 300 doubles left. If you want more Astrite and do not mind overshooting, his planner’s Most Astrite mode drops the small packs for the large Lunite tiers: $185.88 for 1,198 rings and 200 pulls in his case.

Shorekeeper, Carlotta or Phoebe: who should you pick at 980?
Shorekeeper, unless you are missing a specific carry. The video gives the same answer in one line. Here is where each sits on our tier list today:
| Resonator | Tier (Tower of Adversity) | Take them if… |
|---|---|---|
| Shorekeeper | T0 Support | The universal healer-buffer: a T0 support, and an option in 4 of the 9 T0 and T0.5 teams on our team list. The default pick. |
| Carlotta | T1.5 DPS | A Glacio carry with her own Hypercarry team. Worth it if you already run Zhezhi. |
| Phoebe | T2 Hybrid | Spectro Frazzle; the pick if you are building around Zani. |
Each has a full build page: Shorekeeper, Carlotta and Phoebe, and the teams they fit are on best teams. A resonator you already own at S6 cannot be selected; 8 Transducers are the fallback for a maxed account.
How do you plan your Moonlit Path spending?
The video’s method, in order. EODdb automates it, but the logic works with a notepad:
- 1Count your monthlies. In the Lunite Subscription page of the shop, check how many more months you can stack. Each one is 30 rings and the best Astrite per dollar in the game.
- 2Check which first top-up doubles you have left. The shop marks every Lunite tier still eligible for its first-purchase double. The doubles add Astrite, not rings.
- 3Pick your target milestone. 450 for the weapon chest, 980 for the resonator selector. Past 980, the rewards are cosmetics and three more Transducers.
- 4Fill the gap with the best Astrite per dollar. Monthlies first, then the doubled tiers, then the 120-Astrite-per-dollar chests, then plain Lunite. Every option earns 6 to 6.8 rings per dollar, so the order changes what you pull with, not what you pay.
- 5Claim before November 11. Rewards left unclaimed are mailed within 30 days of the end, but only to players who log in during that window.
In the planner, those are the four controls under the reward strip: the target milestone, Best Value or Most Astrite, the monthlies-left slider and a checkbox for each first top-up double. EODGamer sets six monthlies left in his example, reasoning that most players have one running already. The tool also has a rerun-banner analysis; for this version’s reruns, Chisa, Iuno, Lucilla and Lynae, see our banner schedule and the builds for Chisa and Iuno.
Is the Moonlit Path event worth it?
Only if you were going to spend in 3.7 anyway. For someone already planning to pull for Hsin or Suoming, the event turns about $150 of purchases into a free 5★ weapon and a free 5★ resonator on top. For someone who was not, $150 for a Shorekeeper you may already own is a poor trade. Two lines to hold:
- • Buy the monthly first. At 601 Astrite per dollar it beats every other purchase, event or not.
- • Stop at 980. Reaching 2,200 costs roughly $185 more for an accessory set and a seat.
Free Astrite still counts too: the version’s redeem codes and the full rundown of Version 3.7 are worth a look before you open the shop. Thanks to EODGamer for the walkthrough and for building the planner; EODdb.com also has endgame usage stats and a roster tracker.
