Blooms for the Shadow is the permanent gameplay feature added in Version 3.7: gather Thousandfold Petals across the Nexus Fox Shadow’s three Heart Realms and offer them at Heart Calmer Altars for Astrite x400, Lustrous Tide x10, Phantom: Smolder and the Fox Shadow at Sunset livery. It unlocks in the main quest and never expires.

How Blooms for the Shadow Works

  1. Unlock it in the main quest

    Meet the Nexus Fox Shadow in Mengxuan Vale during Chapter IV Act IV "Simulacrum of the Heart".

  2. Gather Thousandfold Petals

    Petals of different rarities are spread across the three Heart Realms of the Fox Shadow; Dream Jade Rootstone puzzles are one source.

  3. Offer them at the Heart Calmer Altars

    Each Heart Realm has its own altar. Offerings level that realm up, pay rewards and raise Heart Realm Stability.

  4. Build the Fox Shadow’s trust

    Higher stability raises the Fox Shadow’s trust, which unlocks stronger bonuses across the whole Simulacrum Nexus.

  • Meet the Nexus Fox Shadow in Mengxuan Vale in Main Quest "Simulacrum of the Heart".

Tips

  • It is permanent, so there is no rush — but the trust bonuses make the rest of the Simulacrum Nexus easier, which argues for doing it early.
  • Collect petals while you explore for Dreams in the Capsule; the two overlap and Dreams in the Capsule does close on November 11.
